Terms of Contract



3+1+1 years. The initial term of contract will be for 3 year which can be extendable for two term of 1 year each on the basis of further requirement of position, satisfactory performance of the candidate and at the discretion of corporation on mutually agreed terms and conditions.

Educational Qualification



Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks from AICTE approved Institutions / Universities Professional Certifications: Chartered Engineer or equivalent is preferred


Work Experience



More than of 9 years of work experience preferably in retrofit or new construction projects. Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects in a commercial or industrial setting. Must have worked along with contractors, architects, engineers etc. for a major part of the experience duration

Job Summary



We are looking for a proficient Civil Engineer to oversee the maintenance, retrofit, and new construction projects within our organization. The role involves managing day-to-day civil engineering operations, ensuring compliance with Indian standards and local regulations, and handling retrofit and new branch setup work. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires coordination with various internal departments, external contractors, architects, engineers and regulatory authorities.




Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance & Operations:

Oversee the maintenance and repair of building structures, including offices, utilities, and other infrastructure. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and safety of all civil structures. Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve structural issues promptly.

2. Retrofit & Renovation Projects:

Manage and execute retrofit projects aimed at upgrading existing structures to meet new safety standards, efficiency improvements, or functional requirements. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to design and implement effective retrofit solutions. Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations during retrofit activities.

3. New Shifting & Construction Projects:

Plan and manage the civil engineering aspects of the existing campus, offices in Mumbai, new branch setups (Pan India), including site selection, layout design, and construction. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure that new construction projects meet company standards and are completed on time and within budget. Oversee the repair, maintenance, relocation/ shifting of facilities, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal operational impact.

4. Compliance & Standards:

Ensure that all civil engineering activities comply with Indian standards (such as IS codes) NBC 2016, UDCPR 2020, DCPR 2034, The BOCW Act and local applicable regulations. Be aware of and obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for construction, maintenance, repair, retrofit and shifting etc. projects. Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance, construction, and compliance activities.

5. Project Management:

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for all civil engineering projects, including retrofit and new construction. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.

6. Safety & Risk Management:

Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment during construction and maintenance activities. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards. Train staff on safety practices and emergency response procedures related to civil works.

7. Communication & Collaboration:

Work closely with the facility management team to align civil engineering operations with overall facility objectives. Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders, including management, staff, and external partners. Provide technical guidance and support to other departments as needed.

8. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for civil engineering issues. Analyse structural performance data and recommend improvements to enhance building safety and functionality. Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices in civil engineering.


Additional Skill Sets

1. Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, and construction practices. Familiarity with Indian standards (IS codes) and local regulations related to civil engineering. Proficiency in civil design software and tools.

2. Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

3. Other Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Leadership qualities ability to work along with teams as well as independently.

The preliminary screening of the candidate will be carried out on merit or any other screening parameter decided by the corporation from time to time. Fulfilling eligibility criteria doesn't accrue any claim/right to a candidate to be called for online test and interview. The selected candidates may be offered letter of intent/appointment in the corporation subject to their completing other formalities such as verification of credentials, certificates, satisfactory reports from the references, medical examination and verification of antecedents etc. The candidates currently working in StockHolding or its group companies directly or through any agency or audit firm or any firm associated with it, must provide the necessary declaration while submitting the application. The candidate must provide the necessary information about his/her relative, relation to any Director in StockHolding or its group companies while submitting the application. Candidates against whom there is/are adverse report regarding character & antecedents, moral turpitude etc. are not eligible to apply for the post. If any such adverse orders/reports against the shortlisted/selected candidates is found/received by the company post their selection, their candidature/service will be rejected/terminated forthwith. At the time of interview/final selection, the candidates will be required to provide details regarding criminal case(s) pending against him/her, if any. The company will also conduct independent verification, inter alia, including verification of police records etc. StockHolding reserves right to deny the appointment depending upon such disclosures and/or independent verification. Candidates furnishing false information / suppressing the facts will be disqualified and shall be liable for debarment and legal/criminal action. Candidates who attempt fraud/impersonation shall be liable to be debarred from future recruitment process conducted by the company. Candidate should not submit more than one application for the same position and vacancy code. Candidate will also be required to undergo pre-recruitment medical examination as a part of recruitment process upon selection. Appointment in the Corporation is subject to candidate being found medically fit by the Corporation's notified medical practitioners. Remuneration: The remuneration for the various grades will be commensurate with qualification and relevant experience and best in the industry.

Selection Process:

+ The selection will be based on shortlisting of applications based on eligibility criteria, online Pshychometric Test and Interview.
+ StockHolding reserves its right to limit the no. of candidates to be called for Online Pshychometric Test / Interview.
+ In case more than one candidate secures same marks as cut-off marks in the final merit list (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked in the merit according to their age in descending order.
+ Recruitment rounds consist of the following 2 stages:

+ Final merit list shall be prepared based on the performance in the interview.
+ Based on suitability and at the discretion of StockHolding, a waiting list may be maintained which shall be valid for 6 months from the date of interview.

Action Against Candidates Found Guilty of Misconduct During Selection Process:

+ Candidates are cautioned that they should not furnish any particulars or documents that are false, tampered/fabricated and they should not suppress any material information while filling up the application form.
+ At the time of examination/interview, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of:
- Using unfair means during the examination
- Impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person
- Resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his/her candidature for selection
- Obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair meansSuch a candidate may, in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, also be liable to be:
- Disqualified from the examination for which he/she is a candidate
- Debarred, either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or recruitment conducted by StockHolding.
+ The use of any Mobile phones (even in switched off mode) or any other electronic communication devices or storage media like pen drive, smart watches or camera or blue tooth devices or calculator or any other storage devices or related accessories are not allowed while appearing for online test/inside the premises where the examination/interview is held and/or violates the instructions of the test provider. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
