About the Role
The Manager (FirstEducation) will lead the strategic planning, execution, and achieving sales target of education-focused programs under the FirstEducation vertical. Based in Guwahati, the role requires frequent travel across Northeastern states to oversee implementation, business development, and build strong networks with schools, government institutions, and local partners.
This leadership role calls for someone with vision, operational expertise, and a passion for improving education outcomes in underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement education programs under FirstEducation, including Smart Classrooms, AI and Robotics, Drone Education, and Career Guidance initiatives.
Oversee the rollout of Smartboard and Digital Classroom projects across schools in PAN Northeast.
Build, maintain, and expand a network of associates, local partners, and educational institutions across the region.
Collaborate with state education departments, government agencies, NGOs, and private institutions to scale education projects.
Supervise and support a team of trainers, coordinators, and field associates.
Conduct field visits across Northeast India to monitor implementation, ensure compliance, and provide technical and operational guidance.
Develop training and capacity-building modules for teachers, students, and field associates.
Track, measure, and report program performance and impact metrics to senior management.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders and management.
Ensure facilities and projects meet required standards and align with government regulations.
Achieve defined sales targets within stipulated timelines

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant discipline.
5 - 7 years of experience in education project management, digital learning initiatives, CSR education programs, or related fields.
Strong understanding of digital education tools, smart classroom technology, and emerging trends in skill development.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with government agencies, schools, and local institutions.
Proven experience in leading teams, managing associates, and building networks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with the socio-cultural and educational landscape of Northeast India.
Willingness to travel extensively across the Northeastern states.
