Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance of firefighting Equipment's and records connected to fire departments. Monitoring and participation in firefighting activity, fire drill, Tabletop Exercise and Mock Drill. Installation, inspection, testing and maintenance of fire extinguishing appliances ( Fire Hydrant system, Fire extinguisher, Fire alarm and Detection system). Monthly inspection and AMC of all fire extinguishers. Monthly inspection and maintenance of all fire Hydrant point and fire Pumps. Monitoring and implement emergency response procedures and emergency provisions like fire-fighting facilities, communication system, escape routes, alarm system, first aid arrangement and rescue team. Organize training on firefighting for staff / employees and maintain updated records. Establish and maintain close working relation with fire, safety and environmental agencies like:-

OISD, DGMS,WBPCB,WBF&ES

to ensure compliance of work. Provide HSE Induction training for new employees, contractors & Visitors. Participate as lead to conduct of

external safety Audit

as per IS14489 and its compliance. Experience of delivering training & development and delivering policy and procedures. Provide leadership and expert technical knowledge to manage compliance of all aspects of fire safety across all assets, ensuring that the services are maintained and improved.

Functional Competencies

:

In-depth knowledge of Firefighting systems and fire tender. Knowledge in Fire extinguisher related compliances Knowledge about Industrial safety related regulation. Knowledge about health aspects and its implications
