Overall Job Purpose
To own and manage the delivery of requisite output / analysis to stakeholders involving multiple areas/teams within the Insurance and Investment business.
Managing and facing off to senior Stakeholder independently and supporting them with any Adhoc requirements/analysis through the team or self.
Ensure adequate cross training, process documentation, process controls and work flow management
Could include People management and related responsibilities like training, development and growth in the Organisation.
Primary Key Responsibilities (Top 3-5 KRA)Accountability and Ownership of delivering accurate Management information as per agreed timelines both BAU and Ad hoc.
Engage with Senior Stakeholders independently to support with Adhoc MI requirement/Analysis
Financial analysis of regular MI to develop key messages/insights that are concise and clear to support decision making
Provide Project support as a Subject matter expert/Process owner and ensure seamless transition into BAU.
To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.
Additional Responsibilities:
MI ReportingDeliver scheduled reporting tasks
P&L Reporting for various areas with the Investment business.
Management reviews and value added analysis.
Provide insights on positive and negative trends and anomalies associated with performance and communicate to business stakeholders
Develop, implement and maintain support documentation regarding operations, functionality, framework, policies and procedures
Ensuring back-ups are in place such that there are no key man dependencies
Conduct regular reviews of MI and its production to ensure fitness for purpose, recommending and implementing improvements
Work with relevant teams to drive process efficiency through Automation / MI Rationalisation
Forecasting and BudgetingSupport Stakeholders with Forecasting and Budgeting including analysing the forecasts and giving value added insights on variances.
Data integrity managementValidating the financial data received from key systems for accuracy and completeness
Proactively identify and highlight any anomalies and work with relevant teams to fix the issues to ensure accurate reporting
Deal with queries on data from Finance team and business stakeholders independently
Ad HocWorking on ad hoc request received from internal and external stakeholders
Explanation the key movements and trends of MI figures to stakeholders

Knowledge & Skills (Must Have) :Hands-on experience in FP&A

Good knowledge of Office 365, Business Objects (Web intelligence), Forecasting tools like Oracle EPM, Power BI
