Job Description

Role Purpose:


The Manager - Finance & Business Operations will play a key role in

strengthening financial management, compliance, and business processes

across Greenvironment's entities. This role blends

finance, operations, and technology

, driving automation through

Zoho tools

, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting business scalability.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Financial Management & Accounting



Manage end-to-end accounting for India and overseas operations through

Zoho Books

. Oversee general ledger, payables, receivables, and reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly and yearly financial statements. Coordinate with auditors for

statutory, tax, and internal audits

.

2. Compliance & Control



Ensure all statutory compliance:

GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, ROC filings

, etc. Maintain documentation for inter-company transactions, cross-border payments, and FEMA compliance. Support finance process audits and establish internal control mechanisms.

3. Business Operations & Process Optimization



Streamline and document workflows between

Sales, Projects, Customer Success, and Finance

. Manage financial aspects of

sales orders, purchase orders, and invoicing cycles

in Zoho. Lead implementation of SOPs for

procurement, payments, and reporting

. Coordinate with the

CFO

for MIS and compliance review.

4. MIS, Budgeting & Reporting



Prepare

monthly MIS

, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. Track

Budget vs Actuals

, analyze variances, and highlight corrective actions. Consolidate financial data from India and global entities for board review. Create reports and dashboards using

Zoho Analytics / Excel

for management decisions.

5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management



Manage daily fund flow, vendor payments, and collection follow-ups. Prepare

cash flow forecasts

and coordinate bank transactions. Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and consultants for financial matters.

6. Financial Automation & System Integration



Drive automation of financial operations through

Zoho Books, Zoho People, Zoho Projects, and Zoho Inventory

. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and speed. Ensure financial data accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency across systems.

7. Business Partnering & Insights



Collaborate with department heads to align financial planning with business goals. Provide financial insights for proposals, pricing, and project profitability. Support strategic initiatives such as new entity setup, investments, or audits.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong knowledge of

Zoho Books / Zoho Finance Suite

. Hands-on experience in

financial accounting, MIS, and statutory compliance

. Analytical mindset with a keen eye for process improvement. Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills. Energetic, self-driven, and able to thrive in a

fast-paced startup environment

.

Qualifications



Education:

CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)

Experience:

4-5 years in finance & operations in a tech/startup or multi-entity environment

Tools:

Proficiency in

Zoho Books, Excel, and financial reporting dashboards
