Requirements

CA inter with 10+ Years' experience
Experience in seafoods industry add advantage and preferably person from Cochin
Good communication skills - both written and verbal
A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
Ability to stick to time constraints
understanding of data privacy standards

Role and Responsibilities

1. GST Compliance

a. Coordinating E Invoicing

b. Filing of GST Returns

c. Application of GST Refund

d. Reconciliation of all GST accounts

2. TDS

a. Monitoring the compliance of TDS provisions

b. Filing of TDS returns

3. Forex management

a. Forward Booking

b. Bill Discounting

c. Forex realisation

d. Management of EEFC account

e. Laisoning with banks

4. Monthly MIS

a. Monthly performance evaluation

b. Reports for monthly review meeting for BoD

Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information
Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as day to day financial statements and budget performance
day-to-day financial report
Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants
Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk
Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
Manage tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Kochi, Ernakulam - 682006, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
