The Manager - Finance will lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis. The Senior Manager will act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Drive the annual budgeting and long-term forecasting processes.
Perform detailed variance analysis, highlighting key trends and insights.
Develop financial models to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Accounting & Compliance:
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Oversee preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
Strategic Financial Management:
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy and growth.
Monitor KPIs and financial performance, and propose corrective actions as needed.
Support M&A due diligence and integration processes, where applicable.
Cash Flow & Treasury:
Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
Optimize capital structure and banking relationships.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Experience:
8-12+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or senior role.
Experience in [pharama industry] is preferred.
Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel/financial modeling.
