About MelJol
MelJol (Registered India NGO) began as a field action project of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai in 1991 as a response to the changing landscape of Child Right and Education. MelJol seeks to address issues related to generational poverty by meaningfully involving children, youth, women, and community. We encourage a new generation of young people and intend to equip them with knowledge and skills to better understand values of citizenship, the power of economic growth, social & financial equity and concepts of risk and reward; enabling them to break the cycle of poverty.
