Role Purpose



To manage end-to-end

Export & Import operations

with strong ownership of

commercials, documentation, statutory compliance, logistics, and export sales

, while coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities



Export & Import Operations



Manage complete

export and import operations

, including order execution, shipment planning, and coordination. Handle

import of raw materials

(lead scrap, alloys, consumables) and

export of finished goods

(Lead Ingots, Refined Lead, Lead-based alloys). Coordinate with

CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, banks, and insurers

to ensure smooth movement of goods.

Commercial & Documentation



Handle all

commercial documentation

, including: LC opening, amendments, negotiation, and closure Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Insurance, and Bank documents Manage

banking transactions

related to exports and imports (LC, DP, DA).

Compliance & Regulatory



Ensure compliance with

DGFT, Customs, GST, EXIM Policy, FEMA

, and other applicable statutory requirements. Support

audits, inspections, and statutory verifications

related to EXIM and commercial activities.

Logistics & Cost Control



Monitor

logistics costs

, freight negotiations, delivery timelines, and claims. Optimize shipment planning to improve cost efficiency and turnaround time.

Export Sales & Business Development



Drive

export sales

for Lead Ingots, Refined Lead, and Lead-based alloys. Generate

new overseas customer leads

and expand export markets. Finalize product specifications in coordination with

technical and production teams

. Negotiate pricing, secure export orders, and coordinate shipment execution. Achieve assigned

export sales targets

and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Internal Coordination & MIS



Work closely with

Purchase, Finance, Production, and Compliance teams

. Prepare and maintain

MIS reports

on shipments, costs, sales pipeline, claims, and pending documents.

Skills & Competencies



Strong knowledge of

EXIM procedures, documentation, and statutory compliance

. Excellent

commercial acumen

and banking exposure. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and market awareness skills. Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail, time management, and multitasking capability.

Desired Candidate Profile



6-12 years of experience

in EXIM & Commercial roles, preferably in

metals / lead / battery / hazardous manufacturing industries

. Strong exposure to

LC, DP, DA

, and international trade banking operations. Experience working in

high-volume, compliance-driven manufacturing environments

. Proven capability in managing

both operations and export sales

.

Education



Graduate / Postgraduate Specialization in

Commerce, Logistics, International Business

preferred
