Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Market Research and Analysis : Conducting research and analysing market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to identify potential opportunities and product gaps in the EV space. This includes monitoring changes in government regulations, consumer incentives, and emerging technologies. Regular Market and Dealership visits to have 1st hand feedback on the consumer needs and wants is a Must have. Product Planning : Developing a comprehensive product plan that outlines the features, pricing, target audience, and launch schedule of the new EVs. This includes identifying the optimal range, battery capacity, charging time, and other performance specifications that will meet the needs of the target market. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing to ensure that the product meets the identified market needs and requirements. This includes collaborating with various suppliers and partners to develop and integrate the powertrain technology. Budget and Cost Management : Creating and managing budgets for EV product development, testing, and launch activities, as well as managing costs to meet financial goals. This includes identifying areas where cost savings can be achieved without compromising product value proposition or performance. Experience Experience : 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in areas of Product Planning or Product Strategy. 1-2 years of experience in Electric Vehicles & Ecosystem domain will be preferred. Not looking for program management experience. Exposure to customer facing function like Sales/Marketing/Customer Care etc and/or R&D functions that\'s related to overall vehicle attributes & evaluation will be an added advantage. Industry Preferred Qualifications Qualifications: BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics/Computers Engineering, MBA desirable General Requirements
