Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Manufacturing feasibility study for new Equipment requirements in existing facilities/New Facility
2. Developement of equipment architecture to connect it with peripheral devices
3. Review, validate & Ensure Integration of equipments with PLC and Robot as per design.
4. New product planning -
Ensure Correctness of new equipment scope and by various Benchmarking, comparisions & feasibility studies.
Prepare of RFQ for Robotic & manual lines with equipment requirements.
Confirm Equipment Sweat existing equipments to maximum.
Validate all equipment specs are conjunction with process, Controls & Robotic team.
5. Hands on Experience in Equipments such as Weld gun, Robots, Weld Controller, Conveyors, Rails, balancers, Stud & Nut welders, Turn table, Trunions, Motors, Drives, Sealer systems etc.
6. Prepare Utility requirement for body shop & conduct detailed review with utility team.
7. Preparation fo equipment standards & Installation standards.
8. Ensure Line builder adherance of RFQ techicals, terms & conditions and timely delivery.
9. Ensure adherance of stand checksheets for Design, approval & buyoff of fixtures at supplier end.
10.Conducting FMEA & MFMEA for Various Body shop processes & equipments.
11. Control Installation & commisionning of Brown field & Green Field projects.
12. Support Production team to resolve line issues & prove Equipment Capability.
13. Develop Virtual Commissioning cells & ensure 100% adherance in SImulation.
14. Benchmark OEM architecture for its TCP effectiveness

1. Hands on experience on trouble shooting of equipments like Robot,Manual weld gun,weld controller,hoist,Conveyor system,sealer syatem,Co2 welding ,Stud welding m/c.ertc
2. In depth knowledge on Equipment engineering & its working principal of above equipments.
3. In Depth knowledge of equipment parameter setting (Spot welding,stud welding,co2 welding,sealer system)
4. Body shop tools and Equipment planning.
5. Techno/Commercial Comparisons amongst different Suppliers.
6.Knowledge of robotic welding process and Manual BIW Making process
7. Feasibility study of BIW shop equipments like (Guns,Robots ) configuration finalization ,Planning, Installation and try out trouble shooting.
8. Fault finding and troubleshooting of equipments.
