Cloud Infrastructure Expertise

:

RISE with SAP

bundles cloud infrastructure services from SAP and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). Needs to have expertise in managing cloud environments and a deep understanding of multi-cloud setups, networking, and security. Knowledge of

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

is essential, including how to leverage these platforms for application development and integration. This role must be adept at designing integration architectures using APIs, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP BTP to connect disparate systems seamlessly. Requires a strong understanding of

migration strategies

, tools (e.g., SAP Data Migration Cockpit, SAP Cloud ALM), and methodologies for transitioning from ECC or other SAP environments to SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Technical knowledge in

Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition

approaches for cloud migration is critical. The Technical Architect needs to ensure that the cloud environments provided under

RISE with SAP

are secure and meet regulatory compliance standards, including

data protection

(e.g., GDPR),

user access control

, and

cybersecurity frameworks

. Technical Architect should be familiar with monitoring tools such as

SAP Cloud ALM

for operations, performance management, and proactive troubleshooting of technical issues in the cloud. The Technical Architect needs expertise in using

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

to develop custom extensions and applications without disrupting the core SAP S/4HANA environment. This includes working with

SAP Fiori

,

SAP Mobile Services

, and

SAP Analytics Cloud

. Act as the key technical advisor for clients, facilitating workshops, gathering business requirements, and designing customized SAP solutions that meet customer needs and align with business objectives. Define the technical architecture of SAP solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with industry standards. Drive integration across SAP and non-SAP systems, leveraging cloud and hybrid environments. Establish governance frameworks and enforce technical standards, ensuring compliance, data security, and adherence to SAP best practices across all projects. Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of SAP systems. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency. Provide oversight and direction to technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Manage technical risks and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture blueprints, and integration models. Facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams and clients.
