Job Description

• Supervise machinery used in the production of pharmaceutical dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, injectables, devices, and bio-pharmaceutical products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machinery-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure safety procedures and proper organization in all areas at all times.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of utility equipment such as Boilers, AHU, Chillers, and Air Compressors, along with process equipment like Granulators, Tablet Machines, Syrup-Making, and Packing Machines.
• Manage and maintain HVAC and water systems.
• Conduct periodic maintenance checks, plan equipment upgrades and modifications, identify faults, investigate breakdowns, and monitor performance post-repair.
• Handle procurement of new components for existing equipment or replacement of machinery after its lifecycle completion.
• Supervise manpower for maintenance and other plant operations.
• Update maintenance databases with progress reports and work documentation.
• Collaborate closely with maintenance and technical teams to ensure high process reliability and achieve production targets.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks daily and resolve identified issues.
• Coordinate with production supervisors for smooth machine operations.
• Monitor and maintain diesel consumption records.
• Assist in training new employees and supporting maintenance staff as needed.

Key Skills: o BE (Mechanical/Electrical) with 5-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience

• Strong knowledge of utility equipment (Boiler, AHU, Chiller, Air Compressor, etc.)
• Ability to handle external audits independently
• Experience in maintenance and installation of pharmaceutical production machinery (tablets, capsules, injectables, devices, bio-pharmaceutical equipment)
