Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
? Support design and development of high-voltage transformer bushings as per IEC/IS and customer specifications
? Prepare and review 2D/3D electrical design drawings and schematics using CAD tools
? Create and maintain design documentation including BOMs, test reports, and engineering calculations, and quality teams to resolve design-related issues
? Provide engineering support for customer-specific customization and product modifications
? Participate in type testing, validation
? Coordinate with production, testing
, and continuous design improvements
? Assist in preparing technical documentation for customer approvals and inspections
? Interact with suppliers for component validation and design feasibility
? Ensure timely execution of design changes and maintain engineering change records

• Should have hands-on experience in design and development of bushings or transformers
• Should be well-versed with IEC/IS standards, insulation systems, and customer specification-based design
• Capable of preparing 2D/3D electrical design drawings, BOMs, and design documentation using CAD tools
• Must have exposure to AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and FEA
• Should have experience in engineering calculations, test documentation, and validation reports
• Strong coordination skills with production, testing, and quality teams
• Should have experience in handling customer-specific modifications and technical documentation for approvals/inspections
• Exposure to type testing, product validation, and engineering change management
• Preferably from transformer, bushing, or high-voltage equipment manufacturing
• Should be able to independently manage design projects and support cross-functional execution

Skills and Competencies:
? Strong understanding of electrical insulation, high-voltage systems, and design standards (IEC/IS)
? Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 2D/3D CAD software
? Familiarity with electrical design calculations and specification preparation
? Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple design tasks
? Knowledge of FMEA, DAP, or other engineering analysis tools (preferred)
? Good communication skills and attention to detail
Qualifications & Experience:

B.E. in Electrical

• Experience:

Prior experience in transformer, bushing, or other high-voltage component manufacturing
Candidates from electrical equipment or power systems design roles will be preferred
