Job Description
Urgent Opening for Taxation Manager (Direct Tax) in Leading Investment Fund
1. Experience in direct tax - Compliance/ Litigation/ Advisory - CA Mandatory
2. Work on the new fund structures with the products team to provide inputs and guidance from taxation point of view
3. To be able to work with different tax consultants to seek advice on matter of importance from Funds perspective
4. Perform detailed review of tax returns, tax working papers, calculations and other tax compliance
5. Maintain the full repository of full tax records for the entities being handled
Understanding on the following would be added advantage :
1. Basic knowledge of indirect taxation
2. Ability to understand all aspects of taxation at fund and fund manager entities from Indian and Singapore tax law perspective
Functional Skills:
1. Possess knowledge of Domestic & International Taxation
2. Work experience of working with consulting & in financial services Industry for about 1-3 years.
3. Good at excel and other MS. Office software
4. Should go-getter approach for working
Soft skills :
1. Excellent inter-personal skills
2. Eye for detail
3. Ability to manage ambiguity
Industry Preference : Banks, Investment Banking, NBFC, Stock Broking, AIF, Asset Management Companies etc.
