Function Description:

Enterprise Digital Data & Solution (EDDS) team is a dynamic environment of digital product and analytics professionals that drive significant value for American Express through innovative solutions. Membership Experience Product Analytics and Testing team with in EDDS specializes in insightful and actionable analytics for customer facing digital products across Mobile Web, Mobile App and Push channels.

Purpose of the Role:

The Product Analytics & Testing (ME-Membership Engagement) team centralizes web, mobile and digital product analytics to support Enterprise Digital Membership Experience product teams across the enterprise. The focus of this team is to drive digital product evolution based on robust digital product analytics driven insights and robust test & learn and experimental analytics

Responsibilities:

This role will report to the Director of Digital Experimentation & Insights (Membership Web) and will be part of the Enterprise Digital & Analytics team in Gurgaon. The candidate will be responsible for a team of 2-3 Analysts for delivery of highly impactful analytics for Amex's digital products and experiences for Membership Web.

Critical Factors to Success:

Good communication skills

Ability to lead a team of highly skilled and motivated analysts

Ability to multi-task to deliver high performance analytics to multiple stakeholders

Knowledge of statistical software (SAS, SQL, Machine Learning) and manipulating large and complex data sets; experience with Teradata preferred

Good Verbal & Written Communication skills and ability to articulate analytics recommendations to the business partners

Past Experience:

4-5 years+ analytics experience with a background in quantitative business analysis and statistical and modeling techniques; experience in digital analytics preferred

Academic Background:

Post graduate degree in Business, Finance , Economics, Statistics or a related field from a premier institute

Functional Skills/Capabilities:

Deliver custom analytics and insights focused on the product and marketing roadmap for Amex.com / Amex online account, Amex mobile app etc.

Define and develop new KPIs, customer segments different product within the amex membership (web) experiences.

Power in-depth strategic analysis and provide analytical and decision support by mining digital activity data and AXP closed loop data

Gain deep functional understanding of the digital assets over time and ensure analytical insights are relevant and actionable

Design and analyze experiments to optimize digital membership journeys to deliver best on both business goals and customer experience

Technical Skills/Capabilities:

SAS /SQL/HIVE /Adobe SiteCatalyst
