About the department

Our Data Management group is 350+ professionals spanning across India, Denmark and North America. Data Management sits in Development where we manage clinical drug development worldwide, ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics while delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society. Our newly formed Data Review and Cleaning group sits within the Data Management & Centralised Data Review Department led from our Bengaluru site. The Data Review and Cleaning group has been set up to centralise and modernize the data review and cleaning processes, implement new methodologies and to develop innovative toolkits supporting the transformation.

The position

As Manager, an ideal candidate will be responsible for the deliveries related to therapeutic areas in Novo Nordisk, by setting targets according to the overall strategies for Data Review and cleaning. The responsibilities further include following up on deliverables ensuring timely, high quality and cost-effective outcomes are achieved. The person will be a part of the leadership team while reporting to the leader (VP) of Data Management and Centralised Review. The key to success for this role will be innovation, change management and thrive for timely deliveries.

  • Support the team in their communication with stakeholders.
  • Support area VP in line with Data Management strategy to develop and support new toolsets and capabilities to evolve data review and cleaning practices in line with regulations and industry best practice.
  • Foster a team environment open to innovation and experimentation with a view to transforming data review and cleaning practice.
  • Support strategy for digitization, automation, simplification and published automated status and work progress reporting in line with Data Management strategy.
  • Developing and driving people strategy, including sourcing of talents as well as recruitment, retainment, attraction, and rotation.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in natural science, business administration or engineering.
  • 3+ years of Proven track record of people leadership/team lead position.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data management, or clinical development as well as experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations preferred.
  • Experience of change management, process improvement projects or IT system implementations.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
