Global Sales & Services Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales priorities and works with sales & services leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's sales force, which delivers approximately $4.9B in annual revenue and working to drive sustained double-digit growth. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support a global sales force comprised of more than 5,000 associates who sell to every major function, industry and market sector around the world.
About the role:
The Manager Data Analytics role is part of the Sales & Services Reporting & Automation team that stands at the forefront of developing cutting-edge automated data solutions for Gartner's Global Sales and Services Delivery teams. This is your opportunity to lead a high-impact analytics team, dedicated to driving automation, solving complex problems, and managing key stakeholder relationships, ultimately delivering significant and measurable business outcomes.
What you will do:

• Initiative Leadership: Spearhead and champion automation initiatives aimed at streamlining data processes. Enhance business efficiency and agility by implementing innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
• Oversee the full life cycle of planned data, metrics, and analytics initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans involving cross-functional teams.
• Craft compelling executive-level communications and presentations that effectively convey complex data insights and strategies.
• Team Leadership & Technical Proficiency: Lead, inspire, and nurture a talented team of up to 5 data analysts. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement, contributing to a positive and productive work environment where everyone thrives. Utilize your technical mastery to provide analysts guidance and training within the team's core skillset including SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate strategic needs into actionable automated data insights. Drive informed decision-making across the organization by providing data-driven recommendations and solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders by effectively communicating Analytics Automation's strategies and priorities. Ensure alignment and understanding across all levels of the organization, facilitating seamless collaboration.
• Data Quality: Uphold the highest standards of data quality and protection. Ensure adherence to control structures that guarantee the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels, promoting trust and reliability in our data-driven decisions.

What you will need:

• Educational Background: 8+ years of professional experience, supported by a degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related fields. Your academic foundation will be complemented by a passion for data analytics and innovation.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Exhibit expert SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation, enabling the creation of innovative data solutions that drive business success.
• Preferred experience in Python and essential libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, with a proven track record of creating efficient ETL processes, preferably in Databricks. Solid hands-on experience with traditional data engineering tasks, such as building analytical data records, is highly valued.
• Master data visualization techniques and tools for impactful storytelling through dashboards, with a primary focus on Power BI
• Leadership: Demonstrate proven experience in mentoring and managing a team of data analysts. Ensure that data analytics best practices are followed, fostering an environment of excellence and continuous learning.
• Project Management: Bring experience in leading initiatives with cross-functional teams. Showcase your proficiency in creating and executing comprehensive project plans. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to engage effectively with senior leaders and manage multiple stakeholders with ease.
• Technical Proficiency:
