Job Description


Job Purpose

1. Managing customer implementations received from various sources such as Regional Implementation team, network offices, local sales, etc.

2. Ensures compliance to implementation procedures, Eg DePICT.

3. Support cross product / region project implementation

4. Establishes implementation plans and develops processes which will result in overall KPI improvements.

5. Monitors and steers on country implementation KPIs and delivery against defined targets.

6. Provide training and support to CS / OPS Team.

7. Implement improvements specifically via automation.

8. Develop Implementation & project management competency

9. Project Management skills

Main Accountabilities

IMPACT

This is a critical role for supporting Customer Implementations received from Global / Regional teams, local sales team.

Internal team of DGF, Customers, Overseas offices, etc.

EXTERNAL CUSTOMER

- Understand customer requirements.

- Manage customer expectations.

- Drive project implementation and customer program service excellence

- Ensure to take the feedback from the customer from time to time and also at the end of the implementation.

- Do it right first time

- Visit key / large customers along with sales / Commercial team colleagues to present DGF IN capabilities.

- SPOC for implementing customer requirements

Country BD, AFR, OFR, CDZ, BPM, FICO, IT

- Setup Implementation project plan

- Define roles and responsibilities of team members.

- Coordinate and ensure tasks completion as per implementation plan.

- Maintain efficient communications to all parties through the implementation process.

- Align with all stakeholders."

Country / Regional BD/ BC Team

- Work closely with BD/BC Sales to understand and comply with customer requirements

- Support in developing local / regional SOP and drive compliance

- Manage customer programs to meet KPI standards

PSOS

- Liaise with country STG team for setup and support on CW1 and other in-house applications.

IT

- Liaise with Regional IT and or India IT team for setup and support on EDI and other technical areas.

Regional Implementation & Program Management Team

- Liaise and coordinate the implementation on country level.

- Support and develop country program management and implementation team capabilities as required

Country OFR / AFR / CDZ

- Facilitate trainings and ensure all SOPs are being followed by the products and or operations.

Other BUs

- Liaise with other BUs (GSC, DESC, BD) to coordinate regional Global freight implementation and programs.

Functional Expereince

- Work in similar profile in the logistics industry for minimum 5 - 6 years.

- Good understanding of Air Freight, Ocean Freight product knowledge

- Good understanding of IT capabilities or avenues.

SKILLS - Education / Qualification / Certification Requirements

Knowledge

- Have Sound knowledge about the various products such as Airfreight, Oceanfreight.

- knowledge of customs clearance and transportation would be added advantage.

- Knowledge of shipping documents.

- Knowledge of statutory compliances.

- Knowledge of internal process & software like CW1

Skills

- MS Office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet etc.)

- Good Communication & Interpersonal skills

- Good Presentation skills

Minimum university degree,

- Specialization in logistics or related activities is desirable.
