The Manager (Crypto CAU) will lead the Crypto Cyber Analysis Unit, overseeing regulatory compliance, resource and license management, and strategic capability building. The role involves monitoring and investigating blockchain and cryptocurrency transactions to identify fraud and cybercrime, collaborating with law enforcement and regulatory bodies, and recommending tools and partnerships to strengthen operations. The incumbent will manage and mentor a team of analysts and forensic experts, stay updated on emerging blockchain threats and technologies, and support adoption of advanced blockchain forensic tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as team leader for the Crypto CAU, providing regulatory inputs, resource management, license management, and PQ inputs.
Recommend strategic partnerships to enhance the unit's capabilities.
Monitor and analyze blockchain transactions to detect fraudulent or suspicious activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies on crypto fraud and cybercrime investigations.
Manage, mentor, and upskill a team of security analysts, cryptographic engineers, and forensic experts.
Conduct workshops and seminars to keep the team updated on emerging threats, new encryption techniques, and blockchain forensic advancements.
Evaluate blockchain tools for efficiency, recommend tools/software for adoption, and assist in procurement decisions.
Skills & Requirements:
BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or MCA from a recognized university/institution.
Advanced certifications in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency investigations, or related domains.
Minimum 7 years of experience in investigating cryptocurrency transactions and analyzing blockchain data.
Hands-on experience with blockchain explorers and forensic tools to trace cryptocurrency transactions.
Experience managing teams of forensic analysts or cryptography experts.
Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptocurrency protocols, and transaction tracing methods.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to cryptocurrency.
Excellent leadership, team management, project coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
