Position Purpose:

  • Responsible for management of RO credit control team for India and to support and drive improvement going forward

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with CHEP RO teams to ensure a common understanding of the collections model and key processes
  • Monitor performance against CPIs and KPIs and other key metrics and ensure that all relevant actions are taken to ensure best-possible performance against target
  • Provide LBUs with ad hoc updates on performance against key metrics and ongoing initiatives
  • Ensure agreed ownership and escalation lines are kept in line with pre-established plan
  • Support transformational change and process standardisation initiatives within own region
  • Ensure complaints or escalations from the business activities are managed in a timely an appropriate manner
  • Escalate serious issues to Manger/RPO
  • Support timely dispute resolution by liaising with CHEP business
  • Attend Cash Collection calls to ensure that calls are productive and cooperative
  • Manage or re-direct requests from CHEP business related to Credit, Cash Application or Collections
  • Communicate clearly with the business any changes in process or service delivery model
  • Coordinate with Genpact and Brambles business regarding audit requirements and submissions.

Other
  • Generating Statistical Debtors information.

Initiating and progressing clearly defined projects to improve current systems, procedures and policies in the Credit Management and related environment

Bachelors - Accounting

7 - 10 years
