Job Title: Manager - Costing & MIS
Location: Nashik, Maharashtra
Function: Finance & Accounts
Role Objective
The role is responsible for managing product costing, MIS reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the manufacturing plant. The incumbent will support business decision-making through accurate financial analysis, cost control, and timely reporting, with hands-on involvement in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze product costing, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
Manage monthly MIS reports covering plant performance, cost analysis, margins, and key financial metrics.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities in coordination with plant and corporate teams.
Support Annual Business Planning (ABP) through detailed financial models and assumptions.
Monitor actuals vs budget and highlight variances with actionable insights.
Work closely with production, operations, and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency.
Ensure accurate data capture and reporting through SAP (costing, controlling, and MIS modules).
Support internal audits, management reviews, and finance-led initiatives at the plant level.
Drive continuous improvement in costing systems, MIS formats, and reporting processes.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Product Costing in a manufacturing environment
Expertise in Monthly MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
Hands-on experience in SAP (CO / related finance modules preferred)
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers
Strong analytical, data interpretation, and stakeholder coordination skills
Educational Qualification
CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification
Experience Requirements
5-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance
Prior experience working in a plant-based role is mandatory
Exposure to costing, MIS, and planning activities in a structured manufacturing setup
