Deal Origination
Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory (selling businesses and advising on acquisitions)
As a result of our growth, our team is expanding, and we are looking for talented and ambitious individuals at Manager level with an M&A advisory or investment banking background to join our growing team.
Typical projects will include:
Execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A projects, financing and fundraising.
Assisting with targeting and approaching new clients to identify potential business opportunities.
Significant involvement in the creation of pitch documents; pricing/valuation papers; all marketing materials; management presentations; DCF, LBO & Locked Box modelling; and execution of supporting transaction structuring as well as advising clients on commercial negotiation.
Mandatory Skills:
Experience: 7-10 years in corporate finance or M&A/investment banking
(preferably supporting DACH region).
MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with a solid academic record.
Command over complex M&A concepts.
Strong understanding of M&A deal life cycle including exposure to later stages deal documents.
Command over valuation through market and income approaches.
Advanced understanding of capital markets.
Good understanding of the general business, economic environment, and strong commercial acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to handle difficult client communication.
Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management.
Prior experience in performance management. Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Prior experience in project scoping and planning, staffing and leading project teams. Ability to multi-task & manage multiple projects and handle critical situations.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).
