Position Summary:The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle - from handling new project enquiries and tender specifications to order finalization, billing, and payment collection. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between customers, technical, operations, and factory teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.Roles & Responsibilities:- Manage inquiries for new projects, regular customer requests, and GeM tenders, ensuring timely and accurate responses.- Coordinate with the Sr. GM - Regional Operations, Erection, and Technical teams to finalize product rates, erection charges, and tender specifications.- Prepare and submit technical and commercial offers; follow up with customers through visits, calls, and emails to track offer status.- Finalize orders and forward supply details to Cheyyar Works, coordinating with the CAD Department for BOQ preparation and approvals.- Oversee material arrangements by liaising with the factory, Purchase, and Logistics teams to ensure timely dispatches.- Manage customer payments-including advance collection, billing, and follow-up for final balance payments.- Prepare and maintain order booking, billing, collection budgets, and lost order records for reporting and performance tracking.Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.- 5-8 years of experience in industrial or project-based sales (preferably in fabrication, mechanical, or heavy engineering).- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with GeM portal operations.- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.- Willingness to travel as required.
