Key Responsibilities
Implement, manage, and continuously improve the company's compliance and AML framework
Develop, review, and update internal policies, SOPs, and compliance manuals
Oversee client onboarding, KYC, AML checks, and ongoing monitoring
Review new and existing clients to identify AML, regulatory, or compliance risks
Conduct compliance risk assessments across business operations
Advise senior management on regulatory compliance through structured reports and recommendations
Handle internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections
Create and manage corrective action plans for audit findings and compliance gaps
Ensure timely regulatory reporting and documentation
Conduct compliance and AML training for employees
Address employee queries related to compliance and regulatory matters
Handle special or ad-hoc compliance assignments as required
Desired Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience in Compliance, AML, Risk, Audit, or Regulatory functions
Experience in
Banking, NBFC, FinTech, Financial Services, or similar regulated environments
preferred
Exposure to AML/KYC, regulatory reporting, audits, and policy drafting
Knowledge of blockchain / cryptocurrency compliance is an added advantage
ACAMS or similar compliance certification is preferred but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex regulatory requirements
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with third-party screening or compliance tools is a plus
