Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our human resources functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments, particularly in the food service industry.

Duties

Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and comply with legal standards. Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive work environment. Conduct training sessions on food safety, handling, and management practices to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with management to assess staffing needs and develop strategies for team management in various dining settings, including casual dining and fine dining. Maintain accurate employee records and manage performance evaluation processes. Ensure adherence to food preparation standards and safety regulations across all operations. Utilize Aloha POS systems for training staff on operational procedures related to food service.

Experience

Proven experience in human resources management, preferably within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food handling, food safety regulations, and food management practices. Experience in team management and employee development within casual dining or catering environments. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
