Role Description:
The role of the Manager - Commercial Operations Support is a critical one for the team and will have immediate and deep exposure to mid-senior internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of partly- and fully-established internal processes within the Commercial Partnerships team as well as ensuring administrative & compliance requirements standards are maintained. This will allow the team to deliver greater value for Booking.com. The role will report to the Manager of the Fintech Commercial Operations team (Amsterdam), and will head a brand new team of 3-4 Support Specialists.
The Operational Support pillar is still in its early stages, having been built from scratch over the last 3 years. We now have clear processes in the areas of P&L management, contract management and due diligence (not all of which are fully documented). As our scope increases to cover more partnerships in the Payments industry, the successful candidate will work closely with Amsterdam-based teams to transition these processes over to Bangalore as volumes ramp up, while helping us establish ourselves not only as gatekeepers of the processes but as true thought partners on how to manage our partnerships compliantly, efficiently, and profitably.
