Manager - Business Operations JLL Property Development Services (PDS) - Mumbai

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Business Operations to join our Property Development Services team in Mumbai. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong project coordination, financial operations, and vendor management expertise to support large-scale real estate development projects.



Key Responsibilities:



Financial Operations & Documentation:

o Manage end-to-end financial documentation and processing for development projects o Review, verify, and process vendor and client invoices in accordance with contract terms o Handle invoice reconciliation, payment tracking, and receivables management o Prepare monthly financial trackers including revenue forecasting and payment schedules o Maintain accurate cashflow management and budget tracking for assigned projects

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

o Oversee vendor engagement, registration, and onboarding processes across the West region o Act as primary coordination point for payments, receivables, and financial queries o Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations o Facilitate smooth communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners

Project Support & Reporting:

o Track project progress through Work Progress Reports (WPR) and management dashboards o Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management reviews o Support compliance processes and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements o Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless project delivery o Maintain Workday entries and ensure up-to-date project information systems



Required Qualifications:



Experience:

o 8-10 years of experience in project operations, financial operations, or business development o Proven track record in vendor management and client coordination o Experience with large-scale projects and cross-functional team collaboration o Background in real estate, construction, or related industry preferred

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) o Experience with ERP systems (Tally ERP 9, Workday) o Strong analytical and financial documentation skills o Excellent English and regional language communication abilities

Core Competencies:

o Strong ownership mindset and accountability for results o Detail-oriented with exceptional deadline management capabilities o Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management skills o Process-driven approach with focus on accuracy and quality o Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives

Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Banking, Insurance, or related field o Additional certifications in project management or financial operations preferred
