Oracle Cerner is excited to hire a Manager, Client Support . As a Manager, Client Support , you will be responsible to lead, support and grow multiple project development teams. You will be responsible to create technical vision and strategy for assigned project teams in alignment with the organization\'s business objectives. You will be responsible to translate business problems into functional work estimates with interdependencies across project teams for current and future projects. You will also be responsible to partner with the solution owner to build a solution roadmap. You will be responsible to anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges through short-term planning. You will also be responsible to propose and lead process improvement projects within and outside the current scope. You will also be responsible to demonstrate broad thought leadership and influence through sharing knowledge outside team through mentorship, coaching, technical talks and blogs. You will be responsible to lead, direct and review the team\'s work to achieve operational or functional targets or objectives with a measurable contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team and department. You will be responsible to establish and communicate team goals that support and advance team and department objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress. You will be responsible to understand and explain policies, practices and procedures within the immediate area of responsibility to stakeholders within and outside of the team. You will be responsible to Identify, propose and lead team- and department-level quality and process improvement initiatives; participate and provide input on strategic initiatives at the department-level. You will be responsible to deliver consistent and timely training, guidance and feedback to encourage and promote associate success and growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities. You will be responsible to provide primary input and recommendations on staffing and performance decisions for direct reports. You will also be responsible to manage a team of associates.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

At least 2 years of software engineering work experience

At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of people management, matrix management, project management or other indirect leadership work experience

Master\'s degree or equivalent relevant work experience

Expectations:

Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
