Position: Manager (Client or Business Portfolio)
Location: Full-Time Remote
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong leadership, delivery oversight, and management capabilities. As a Manager at Bluebox, will be responsible for end-to-end oversight of a defined portfolio which may include:
Client Engagements (as an Engagement Manager), or
Internal Business Functions (as a Business Manager for HQ).
In both cases, you'll lead a team of associates, coordinate cross-functional work, and ensure that deliverables -- whether client work or internal business operations -- are completed accurately, on time, and to Bluebox standards.
This is a full-time leadership role in a high-performance, remote-first environment. It's ideal for someone who is structured, proactive, and confident managing client service.
Key Responsibilities
Own delivery across your portfolio:
Manage end-to-end execution across all assigned engagements or functions.
Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and to Bluebox standards
Track and drive progress across recurring, ad hoc, and deadline-based deliverables
Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to ensure seamless cross-functional delivery
Prevent slippage, unblock bottlenecks, and escalate early when needed
Lead a high-performance associate team
Assign and allocate work across a team of Chartered Accountants and interns
Review output, provide feedback, and coach for continuous improvement
Monitor capacity and performance to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
Be the primary point of accountability
For Engagement Managers:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
Maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain service clarity by staying on top of scopes, deadlines, and change requests
For Business Managers:
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders or leadership.
Ensure assigned functions run smoothly and consistently.
Build clarity and reliability into internal processes and reporting.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Chartered Accountant
5+ years post-qualification experience in finance/accounting
Prior experience managing client relationships (preferred)
Proven leadership and team management skills
Strong judgment, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfort working across multiple systems, functions, and time zones

Important Details
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Remote
Salary: ₹6,60,000 per year (Net in-hand pay with no deductions).
This is a full-time remote position requiring active collaboration throughout the day, not a freelance or job-work role. Think of it as a regular office job except that instead of commuting to a physical office, you'll log in to a virtual office.
