One of our Client Leading OEM indsutry is looking for Deputy Manager / Manager - Capex & Indirect Purchase position for Chennai Location. JD: BE with 10-15 years of experience in capex and Indirect purchase from renewable energy domain. Responsibilities:
- Sourcing of capex requirements (civil, electrical, infrastructure, HSE, Production, Quality, IT & Admin)
- Sourcing of Indirect Tools & materials (Fabricated parts, machined parts, safety tools, handling tools & tackles, plant requirements)
- Finding suitable suppliers for the subjected requirements > Alternate source development wherever possible
- Selection of products with high quality, less price & to meet the user application
- Negotiations & techno commercial closure with suppliers > Contracting with suppliers
- Regular Coordination with suppliers for quotations & supply and services
- Internal coordination & communication with Plant, Engg , Quality, HSE, IT, Admin during development phase as well as with Global sourcing colleagues Capacity planning with suppliers along with Global sourcing colleagues as per the requirement / production plant.
- Problem solving in case of series supplies. > Budget Vs Savings for the project
- Delivery commitment towards needs > Negotiation on payment terms (in credit days)
- Co-ordination with user and supplier for any customized needs as per the site application / Specification
