Build a resilient supply chain for the Automotive Division through Long term Capacity planning and mapping:
a) Capacity assessment & planning for existing supply chain parts based on 3 years LTP -Action Planning for Capacity Shortfall mitigation for ongoing & new projects - Knowledge of BIW, Sheet metal & Mechanism parts development & processes -Enabling capacity creation at supplier end to meet the requiremn through partnering with PD, SSU, CDMM, SCM, SQE & suppliers -Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till Capacity creation, SOP & Handover b) SSU / SCM / SQE vulnerable supplier alternatives c) New projects C/O parts capacity mapping (across Platforms cross commodities)"
Drive Short term Capacity Planning & supply chain challenges mitigation:
a. Identification of short-term challenges with Supply chain b. Capacity enhancement on current parts c. Quality related supplies issues (alternate sourcing / FTG corrections with current suppliers) d. Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till SOP"
Ensure Close Monitoring of high risk projects requiring sharp ramp up to meet business demands. Drive capacity augmentation, part availability with supply chain & SSU to ensure ramp-up"
De-risking supply chain - Identification of risk in supply chain, working along with SSU to identify alternate sources, Creating Capex budgets in line with the same, enabling VOBs & kick off capacity creation
Drive Project Execution and adherence to Capacity Creation Project timelines :
a.Timely Vendor On Board (VOB) b.Parts development as per project milestones
Digitization - Drive simplicity & efficiency through Digital Capacity Planning and monitoring (Implementation Capacity Planning tool)
Devise & continuously improve processes to reduce NVA's, improve utilization of available resources & enhance customer satisfaction
Actively collaborate with multiple stakeholders - SSU Leadership, SCM, CDMM, PD, Strategic Vendors, Manufacturing to resolve/anticipate issues and ensure smooth operations
Lead capability building of own team through onboarding right talent and grooming second line
Identify and eliminate the capacity constraints as per volume demand using method study tools (Man-Machine charts, deciding the online - offline strategy, low cost automation etc.).
