About Team
Instamart Business Finance: It would be a category-focused Business Finance role. An interface between the finance function and the Supply/Marketing/Business and Operations
teams to support business growth and optimize costs of the various functions. Provide real-time analysis and influence strategic decision-making based on financial performance and financial planning and analysis.
Job responsibilities:
Developing deep understanding of the Instamart business and consumers, categories and other functions of the organization
Doing data driven trend analysis for P&L and revenue metrics with focus on improving the shape of the P&L whale highlighting key insights to leadership.
Having a clear understanding of the drivers of revenue, and impact of pricing decisions on growth
Day to day P&L Management by having a good relationship with the business stakeholders to drive business and growth
Creating processes for new initiatives and improving existing ones with focus on governance & cost leakage
Preparing, managing and publishing business scorecards
Stakeholder Management & working very closely with the business teams
Run weekly reviews with the business stakeholders
Assist with ad-hoc analysis on various projects as and when required.
Desired Candidate:
CA/MBA/B.Tech
Minimum 2-3 years of experience post qualification.
Strong Excel/ Google sheet Skills and good business acumen.
Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills, ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired, experience in a start-up/Retail would be preferred.
Self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems.
Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of SQL would be a plus
