Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new construction projects and clients.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to achieve sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, contractors, and corporate clients.
Identify high-value opportunities and prepare detailed proposals, cost estimates, and presentations.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and ensure profitable deals.
Monitor the performance of the BDE team, track KPIs, and provide coaching for improvement.
Collaborate with project management, engineering, and finance teams to ensure smooth project onboarding.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities.
Prepare and present regular sales and revenue reports to senior management.
Ensure the achievement of revenue targets and business growth objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
3-6 years of experience
in business development/sales in the construction sector.
Proven track record of managing a sales team and closing high-value construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction services, project execution, and client requirements.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and project proposal software.
