Position: Business Development Manager (BDM)
Industry: Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical / Healthcare
Location: As per business requirement
Experience: 5-8 years (Pharma sales / marketing / business development)
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in Pharma / Nutraceutical / API / Finished Formulations
Generate leads for PCD, Third Party Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Exports
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, institutions, doctors, hospitals & corporate clients
Handle client meetings, product presentations, and commercial negotiations
Prepare and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals
Coordinate with production, regulatory, QA, and supply chain teams for smooth order execution
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue growth
Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and market analysis
Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and pharma trade shows
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of pharma products, formulations & market dynamics
Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills
Experience in B2B pharma sales / business development
Ability to close deals and manage long-term client relationships
Good understanding of regulatory & documentation process
Self-driven, target-oriented, and strategic thinker
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools
Educational Qualification
B.Pharm / M.Pharm / MBA (Marketing preferred)
Science background with pharma exposure is an added advantage
Preferred Experience
Experience in PCD / Third Party Manufacturing / Exports
Existing pharma client network will be a strong plus
Exposure to domestic or international pharma markets
