Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Client Acquisition
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, interiors, and turnkey projects.
Build relationships with architects, developers, consultants, corporate clients, and project management firms.
Develop strong pipelines through networking, cold calls, social media outreach, and industry events.
Generate leads and convert them into successful project acquisitions.
2. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with startup growth goals.
Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and project quotations.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with favorable commercial terms.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
3. Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with the design, estimation, and project execution teams to align client expectations with deliverables.
Coordinate tender submissions and proposal documentation.
Ensure clear communication between client and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Branding & Visibility
Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings.
Collaborate on digital marketing campaigns, portfolio updates, and brand positioning.
Contribute to marketing content highlighting successful projects and company capabilities.
5. Strategic Input
Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and recommendations for business positioning.
Support management in forming partnerships, vendor alliances, and long-term business strategies.
Requirements -
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
MBA or Postgraduate in Marketing / Business Development (preferred).
Minimum
4-8 years of experience
in business development within
construction or interior fit-out
.
Experience working in startups or small organizations preferred.
Strong understanding of design-build project cycles, tendering, and pricing models.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving approach.
Good presentation and networking ability.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and digital communication tools.
