We are looking for a strategic and driven Business Development Head to lead sales and partnership efforts across the rooftop solar segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the solar market, a proven track record of closing high-value deals, and the ability to build and lead a high-performance sales team.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the business development strategy for residential and commercial rooftop markets.- Identify and generate leads through market research, partnerships, and networking.- Drive end-to-end sales processes: site visits, proposals, negotiation, and closing.- Build and lead a high-performing sales team.- Manage pipeline and reporting through CRM tools.- Forge strategic partnerships with RWAs, developers, architects, and consultants.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.- Track market trends, policy changes, and competitor moves.- Represent TrueSun at industry events and client meetings.Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred- 6-10 years in solar sales or business development (rooftop/distributed preferred)- Proven track record of closing 100kW+ rooftop projects- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills- Strong industry network and channel partner connections- Familiarity with CRM tools and solar sector regulations (ref:updazz.com)
