Role Overview
We are seeking a
Business Development Executive / Manager
to drive sales, manage store operations, and expand our brand presence across the interior design community in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong industry connections and a passion for creating premium customer and trade experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the flagship store's daily retail operations and sales team
Convert walk-ins through personalized product consultation
Build and strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, and specifiers
Drive business development via outreach, networking, and referrals
Plan and execute store-level promotions and community events
Expand our AID (Architect & Interior Designer) network and trade engagement
Represent Aumbre Story at industry expos, networking events, and site visits
Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and outreach campaigns
Monitor and manage store targets, KPIs, and inventory levels
Achieve revenue goals through a mix of B2C and B2B sales initiatives
Who We're Looking For
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in
business development, retail sales
, or
client servicing
in
home decor, furnishings, or interiors
Established network of 20+ architects and interior designers
in Bangalore (mandatory)
Excellent communication in
English, Hindi, and Kannada
Strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and an entrepreneurial mindset
Familiar with CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales forecasting
Bachelor's degree in business, design, or a related field preferred
