Job Description

Job Summary:The Business Development Manager is responsible for increasing business by acquiring PhD scholars, researchers, and institutional clients. The role focuses on sales planning, client handling, revenue growth, and team coordination for PhD assistance services.Key Roles & Responsibilities:- Identify and generate new business leads (PhD scholars, research students, colleges, universities)- Explain PhD assistance services such as topic selection, proposal writing, journal publication, thesis support, and plagiarism checking- Convert leads into successful enrollments and achieve monthly revenue targets- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and academic institutions- Plan and execute sales strategies to improve admissions and revenue- Coordinate with research, technical, and support teams to ensure smooth service delivery- Monitor sales performance and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports- Train, guide, and motivate the business development team- Handle escalated client issues and ensure customer satisfaction- Participate in marketing activities such as seminars, webinars, and campus tie-upsSkills Required:- Strong communication and convincing skills- Knowledge of PhD process and academic research services (preferred)- Sales planning and target achievement ability- Team handling and leadership skills- Customer relationship management- Basic computer and CRM knowledgeQualification:- Any Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred)Experience:- 2-5 years in Business Development / Sales- Experience in PhD assistance or education consultancy is an added advantageKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):- Monthly revenue and enrollment targets- Lead conversion ratio- Client satisfaction level- Team performance and productivity (ref:updazz.com)
