This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of domestic and international pharmaceutical markets. The Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding market presence, developing sales strategies, building and nurturing a strong sales team, and driving growth through effective leadership and innovation.Key Responsibilities:1. Market Expansion & Strategy Development- Identify new markets and business opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine sales strategies- Build a roadmap for international expansion and develop new distribution channels2. Sales Team Leadership- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales division to exceed revenue targets- Develop a high-performance team through recruitment, training, and coaching- Create a collaborative team culture focused on achieving company goals3. Second-Line Leadership Development- Implement leadership development programs to foster future managers- Succession planning to ensure a strong leadership pipeline within the sales division- Set sales targets and KPIs, ensuring regular performance monitoring4. Sales Operations & Performance Management- Set sales targets and KPIs, ensuring regular performance monitoring- Oversee forecasting and sales data analysis for strategy adjustments- Ensure accurate reporting, presentations, contracts, and proposals5. Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and distributors- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to create mutually beneficial partnerships- Address client concerns and provide timely solutions for customer satisfaction6. Cross-Departmental Collaboration- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies- Align sales objectives with broader company goals in collaboration with leadership7. Budgeting & Financial Oversight- Develop and manage the sales budget efficiently to maximize profitability- Monitor and control sales expenses to improve cost-effectiveness8. Compliance & Industry Knowledge- Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards- Stay updated with regulatory changes and market demands9.
