Business Development Manager - Robotics & Drones

Company: Dronitech

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere in India)

Travel: ~10-15 days/month across key cities like Mumbai, Vizag, Utkal, Bhubaneswar, etc.

- Base Salary: INR 30,000/month - 35,000/month depending on experience and can be negotiated as well.

- Performance-Based Incentive: INR 20,000-40,000/month (Based on sales targets and revenue generation)

Your Role

As the Business Development Manager, you'll be a key player in shaping the revenue growth of Dronitech. You'll open doors, close deals, and help expand our footprint across critical sectors. This role blends strategy, field engagement, and cross-functional leadership - perfect for someone who thrives in action.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to pitching, proposal writing, demos, and closing deals.

- Target high-value B2B and government clients in defense, mining, maritime, ports, and infrastructure.

- Cultivate strong relationships with CXOs, procurement heads, and key decision-makers.

- Engage with channel partners and system integrators to scale outreach and collaboration.

- Conduct research, track tender/RFP opportunities, and identify emerging business verticals.

- Represent Dronitech at key expos, conferences, and demo events.

- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs.

- Provide insights from the field to influence product innovation and roadmap.

- Act like an owner - take initiative, think long-term, and inspire results.

- Mentor junior sales associates as the team scales.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in drones, robotics, defense tech, or industrial automation.

- Strong track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and closing B2B or government deals.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.

- Willing to travel 10-15 days per month for client visits, demos, and networking.

- Bonus if you've worked in a startup or launched products in new markets.
