Role Overview
We are hiring a
Manager - Business Development
to drive aggressive sales across corporates, colleges, universities, and training institutes.
This is an
individual contributor role
, with
monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
, and involves both
direct sales
and
channel partner development
.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate & Institutional Sales:
Generate B2B and B2B2C leads across corporates and educational institutions
Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, demo, negotiation, and closure
Build strong relationships with L&D heads, Directors, Deans, and Training Heads
2. Channel Partner Development:
Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners and franchisees
Train and enable partners on product offerings and go-to-market strategies
Support partners in customer demos, closures, and revenue generation
3. Sales & Revenue Management:
Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets
Maintain a robust pipeline across corporate and institutional verticals
Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to leadership

Candidate Profile - Who Should Apply?
Minimum
3 years' experience
in selling to colleges, universities, or training institutes
Strong background in
corporate B2B or B2B2C sales
(preferably in EdTech or training domain)
Experience in
both direct institutional sales and channel sales
Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively for fieldwork
