Role Summary
The BDM - HVAC Ducting is responsible for generating new business, managing key clients, and driving sales of HVAC ducting systems by identifying project opportunities and closing orders in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new HVAC ducting business opportunities
Generate leads through consultants, architects, PMCs, contractors, and builders
Attend client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions
Study drawings, BOQs, and project specifications
Coordinate with design, estimation, and execution teams
Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers and quotations
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
Close deals and achieve sales targets
Maintain CRM, sales pipeline, and MIS reports
Build long-term relationships with consultants and key customers
Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Project Segments
Commercial buildings (offices, malls, hospitals, hotels)
Industrial plants and warehouses
Data centers, pharma, clean rooms
Infrastructure and institutional projects
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of HVAC ducting systems (GI, PI, aluminum, MS)
Understanding of HVAC drawings and specifications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Client handling and consultant coordination
Target-oriented and result-driven approach
Qualification & Experience
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred
MBA (Marketing) is an added advantage
6+ years of experience in HVAC ducting sales or business development
Experience with HVAC contractors or ducting manufacturers preferred
