The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and driving company growth. The BDM will strategize to expand the customer base and market presence through a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the company's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Strategy:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
Analyze industry trends, competitors, and potential partnership opportunities.
Develop strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion.
Lead Generation & Sales Development:
Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, attending trade shows, and leveraging digital platforms.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Serve as the point of contact for clients throughout the business development lifecycle.
Understand client requirements and work with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
Contract Negotiation & Closure:
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients in alignment with company policies.
Finalize agreements and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align business strategies.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and ROI for senior management.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and deal status in CRM tools.
