Identify and develop new business opportunities in overseas markets, building a robust pipeline of potential clients.
Conduct market research to identify international growth opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, agents, and partners.
Generate leads and convert prospects through persuasive communication and consultative sales techniques.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets and drive revenue growth.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and market insights.
Collaborate closely with internal departments (Operations, Customer Service, Documentation) to ensure seamless customer experience.
Represent the company at industry events and client meetings as required.
Requirements:
Any graduate degree.
5 to 10 years of experience in business development (experience in freight forwarding/logistics industry preferred).
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Strong passion for business development and determination to meet/exceed sales targets.
Sound business acumen and ability to negotiate successfully.
Reporting skills will be an added advantage.
Self-driven and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
