Role Overview:
The
Manager - Business Development
will be responsible for driving growth through new market development, channel expansion, and strategic partnerships. This individual will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and support overall brand growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in both modern trade and general trade channels
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retail partners, and clients
Drive market expansion strategies across target regions to increase brand presence
Contribute to overall revenue growth
Conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify potential growth areas
Develop proposals, presentations, and business pitches for new clients and strategic partners
Coordinate with marketing for trade promotions, events, and brand activations
Monitor competitor activities and recommend proactive measures
Support negotiations, contract closures, and pricing strategies
Prepare reports on business development performance, pipeline status, and market feedback
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields
5-8 years of experience
in business development, sales, or key account management, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry
Strong network and proven track record of building new business relationships
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
Willingness to travel as required for business meetings and market visits
High energy, self-driven, and result-oriented approach
