Overview:We're seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to maintain and expand strategic relationships within the assigned category-particularly in the education and consultant ecosystem. This role demands a high-energy individual contributor who thrives on building meaningful partnerships, navigating channel operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate growth.Preferred Qualifications:- MBA with strong communication and interpersonal skills- Proven go-getter able to build inroads with colleges and education consultants- Self-motivated individual contributor with excellent negotiation capabilities- Collaborative team player who can align seamlessly with wider business functionsKey Responsibilities:- Identify and onboard new channel partners through outreach, meetings, and empanelment- Strengthen existing partnerships to drive volume and sustained growth- Maintain optimal cost of acquisition via channel contests, loyalty initiatives, and targeted programs- Conduct regular visits to partner channels, resolve outstanding issues, and share sales team feedback- Update partners with ongoing pricing changes, products, and special offers- Coordinate lead flow: collect leads, allocate to sales managers, and ensure feedback loops with channels- Drive engagement through tactical initiatives to boost referral volumes- Ensure timely and accurate channel payout processing-including invoice review and submission- Manage renewal cycles of vendor agreements and ensure compliance with internal timelines (ref:updazz.com)
