The primary responsibility is to provide Layer Two support and ensure seamless operation of critical broadcast and IT systems. This includes oversight of broadcast automation platforms such as ADC Automation, D-Series Automation, VIZRT graphics, and video servers from Harmonic, Imagine, and Grass Valley, along with DIVA Archive and IBM Tape Library systems.

Responsible for configuring and supporting Dell and Cisco switches, utilizing advanced network techniques such as VLT, VPC, Port Channels, and VLANs to ensure high availability and performance. A key focus is on designing and maintaining robust LAN, WLAN, and WAN infrastructures to support integrated broadcast and IT workflows.

Additional responsibilities include installation and configuration of network devices such as routers, firewalls, and WiFi systems. Active monitoring of network health, troubleshooting performance issues, and resolving escalated incidents related to both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure are part of the role.

The position also requires maintaining comprehensive documentation, ensuring system compliance with industry standards, and recommending upgrades to improve scalability and security. Acts as a technical liaison to ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, aligning IT strategies with broadcast operations.

Responsible to finalize the budget, cost analysis in accordance to the Head Broadcast IT

Job Requirement

Hands on Experience

Hands-on experience managing Broadcast IT systems including ADC/D-Series Automation, VIZRT, Harmonic, Imagine, Grass Valley, DIVA Archive, IBM Tape Library, Dell/Cisco Switches, VLANs, VLT, VPC, and Firewalls.

Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of broadcast rules and regulations.

Knowledge in maintenance, usage, and design of technical broadcast equipment.

Skill in responding to operational/technical equipment problems.

Skill in both verbal and written communication
