This world class leading Bank is seeking a Analytics & Insight Manager for Group Internal Audit\'s Planning, Delivery, MI & Reporting Team. The Planning, Delivery, MI & Reporting function is responsible for analysing audit data to improve all aspects of the function\'s performance. The qualified individual will be required to help drive innovation in the function, and the generate data led insights to support Group Internal Audit achieving it\'s objective of being the world\'s leading audit function. This individual will be responsible for the following: Driving Innovation and gain insights through audit analytics in the audit risk areas. Designing, developing, testing and documenting analytical procedures for scoping testing and reporting. Providing insights and recommendations using visualisations (fewer words and tables of data) to tell impactful and influential stories for senior management. Designing and implementing effective MI dashboards, leveraging data analytical solutions. Training the function on improving data quality and embrace agile philosophy for continuous improvement. Work closely with key stakeholders to understand data flow, data points, and advise on how they can be leverage in the design of data analytical solution. Champion and train the function on improving data quality and insight Embrace the agile philosophy and continuously seek feedback for continuous improvement Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Our Ideal Candidate A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data analysis role preferably with internal audit, a risk function, a control function and/or previous experience in analysing business processes in a financial services environment Previous experience in audit, risk and fraud areas would be a significant advantage Working knowledge of data analysis software good understanding of data systems and data query and coding language methods, such as SQL, SAS, Python and/or R Experience with metrics and reporting using visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or similar tools Good understanding of analytics and techniques, and proven ability to understand problem statements and identify opportunities for use of analytics. The proven ability to tell stories with data, producing insight that leads to more effective decision making and change delivery. Advocate improvements in data quality by influencing and training the function. Knowledge of basic statistics (Correlation, Regression) Outstanding project management and analytical skills with an ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities with a track record in creative and successful problem-solving Highly entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication and an unrelenting drive to deliver value Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written Ability to lead and contribute within a Global Multi-disciplinary team and be a strong team player A Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics) is preferred Role Specific Technical Competencies Data analysis techniques Programming fundamentals Dashboard Design using Tableau Project management and analytical problem-solving skills Change management and communications Stakeholder management Written and verbal communication skills (in English) About Standard Chartered We\'re an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
