Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of audits for our clients in compliance with Indian regulatory standards and certain foreign clients. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and audit procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Audit Planning and Execution:
  • Plan and coordinate statutory audits for a portfolio of clients in various industries.
  • Develop audit strategies and timelines to ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for audit focus.
  • Lead audit teams in executing audit procedures in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.
  • Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and insights to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Supervise and mentor audit team members, including staff auditors and seniors.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the audit team.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as internal audit policies and procedures.
  • Review and prepare audit workpapers, financial statements, and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of audit quality and integrity.
  • Stay updated on changes in auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • B.Com or CA Articleship completed, CA Inter Qualifed
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in audit, experience during articleship also included.
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounting Standards and auditing standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
  • In depth Knowledge of 44AB Audits and GST Audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and audit tools.
